Eligibility

The City Employee Pharmacy is available to all employees and their dependents enrolled in any of the city’s medical insurance plans. The pharmacy can fill their prescriptions from any healthcare provider authorized to prescribe in the Commonwealth of Kentucky.

Those not enrolled in the city’s health insurance plans can still use the pharmacy for savings on over-the-counter (not prescribed) medications.
Privacy

All care received at our pharmacy is entirely confidential. Our pharmacy is operated by a third-party company, On-Site Rx, and they must follow all federal statutes and laws, including the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) Privacy laws.
Medication Disposal

You can dispose of any unused or expired prescription medication in a safe manner at the City Employee Pharmacy. The drop box is located inside the pharmacy.
Delivery

Delivery to the government center will be available on Thursdays from noon – 1 p.m. Employees can pick up prescriptions on the 8th floor, Human Resources conference room. Employees must provide a daytime phone number where they can be reached if there are any prescription issues.
Credit cards, HSA cards and checks are the only accepted payment.
